It's a New Year :)

I kept thinking over the holidays about how I needed to update this but didn't have the motivation to with all the holiday chaos going on.  So here's the beginning of a new year and I have some more time. :)

Most of November revolved around trying to figure out Thanksgiving plans.  We ended up going home to Kingwood, Tx the Saturday after TG since I had to work Thanksgiving night and the nights before and after.  We stayed from Saturday through Tuesday afternoon and had a nice belated TG dinner at Andrew's parents house.  I love TG dinner!  I was actually pretty good this year too in regards to not eating too much of everything.  Dessert is a different story! ;o)

Then December came and we were working on Christmas plans.  We decided to drive home to Kingwood for 6 days to see everyone again.  It was a good visit and ALL the grand-dogs were home.  Joe & Val (Andrew's parents) seriously had a zoo at their house!  Here's a picture of the three "big boys"...

Gotta love the doggies!  While Andrew's parents had all the dogs, my parents had the cats.  My Mom has a cat named Charlie, Amanda has Chloe and we brought Heidi home so she was there too.  Crazy!

We all had a great Christmas though and got to see a lot of family which is awesome always.  Here's a Texas cousins picture...

Now it's January and we're settling back into our routines and trying to stay warm here in Missouri.  Hope everyone else had happy holidays and are starting off the new year on the right foot!
