So far, so good, October! Kelly's bachelorette weekend was a relaxing girl weekend that was much needed. Her wedding is October 23 - getting excited!!
My birthday was the 5th and ended up being a great day! Andy re-enlisted in the Air Force for 4 more years - yay! We went on base early that morning and I was able to be at the little ceremony they had for him. Then all the guys he works with sang me "Happy Birthday"! So nice! The moment made me think of the movie Top Gun
This past weekend we had a little shin-dig at our house for my birthday and a very belated housewarming party since we never had one a year and a half ago! Our parents and my sisters were able to come and we had an awesome time together. :) We're lucky!
So our latest news is... Andy is going back to school! He's doing a program through the Air Force that will allow him to go to school full-time and obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering!! I'm SOOO excited for him and for us as a family! He really wants to do this and for it all to work out so I'm supporting him 110%! He still has some pre-requisite classes to finish up which will take about a year but after that we could possibly be looking to move to Houston for him to attend the University of Houston! We would be there for 3 years, then he'll go off to Officer Training School and then we'll be stationed somewhere else. We would be relocated every few years, but once he hits the 20 year mark we hope to retire from the Air Force and move back to Texas to be close to our families! SO... that's the long-term plan. We'll see what God REALLY has in store for us along the way and keep y'all posted!
